 Thandi Khui, jammu. Whenever we hear Thandi Khui, The first thing which comes in our mind is Khoya Barfi. People specially go there to buy Khoya Barfi. But, Thandi khui is not just famous for it's Khoya barfi, there are many more reasons and i will tell you those reasons too. So let's get started.
 

THANDI KHUI, JAMMU

Thandi Khui comes in Jammu-Pathankot National Highway and it is located in Samba district. In Thandi Khui, there is a well which has cold water, that is why it is named as Thandi khui. In which Thandi means Cold and Khui means Well. Most of the Vehicles which are coming to jammu or going from jammu must stop at Thandi Khui to take refreshment. But, the main reason for which people visit there is the Famous Blind man's Khoya Barfi.

BLIND MAN'S KHOYA BARFI

 As i mentioned above that the main motive of people to go to Thandi Khui is that the Khoya barfi. Yes it might be sound incredible, but it is true. There is a shop which was established in 1953. There is man named Bishan Dass who is visually challenged and he cannot see, is running a Tea shop. Along with Tea, he is famous for its delicious Khoya Barfi and Namkeen Mathi. 

 

 Nowadays, It is very difficult to get pure thing after spending lot of money also. But the Pure Khoya which Bishan Dass offers drives people there everyday. Hundreds of people visit there everyday or more than that. So, Now you all can imagine the taste of that Barfi.

 I want to tell you one thing about that shop. The Founder of that shop has one principle in life and he tell that principle to their kids also that "Don't offer anything to your Customers that you cannot eat. Customers are God". This is the main reason behind success. If you will provide best thing to Customers, Automatically you will be famous for that particular thing. Most important thing is maintaining that thing.

OTHER THINGS WHICH MAKE IT FAMOUS

As we know that only one thing cannot make a place famous. There are lot more things which make Thandi Khui famous. But it is mainly famous for Food items. I will talk on all of them which i personally know and which i have experienced. So let's start.

 

 Nowadays, there is not only one shop there, There are lot of more shops. There are many more Tea stalls, shops of fried food like samosas, pakodas, etc. which is also very famous.

 Restaurants are now there. Whenever someone coming from travelling often stops there and have their breakfast, lunch or dinner. Various Dhabas's are there, people who love Desi food like Naan, Paranthas, etc are available there. In short, you can say it a refreshment spot.

There is one more major reason. RSSB which is RADHA SOAMI SATSANG BEAS. There is a very big Satsang ghar of RSSB in Thandi Khui which is next to those shops. Lakhs of devotees come there when there Guruji comes there. So, it is major thing which make it famous. 

 We know 17 miles Hotel, it also comes in Thandi Khui, So which is again a major thing. Lot of people visit there everyday. which moake to visit there also. Inshort, everything is there in Thandi Khui, So that's why it is so famous. So, that's all for today, Must visit there and must try that delicious Khoya Barfi.
